We are seeking a transformational leader who will challenge the status quo, energize the team, and protect the asset while growing topline revenues and profit margins.
**Your Role at a Glance**:
As General Manager, you will own the hotel’s total performance, spearheading strategic planning, operational execution, financial management, and brand positioning. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you will be empowered to make high-impact decisions that move the business forward.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Leadership & Execution**
- Provide clear, decisive leadership in all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, service delivery, and brand consistency.
- Instill a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational discipline.
- Oversee and direct all key functional areas: Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, and Maintenance.
**Financial & Asset Management**
- Prepare, execute, and deliver on annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, sales strategies, and P&L targets.
- Manage and protect the asset through proactive capital planning, ROI analysis, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Utilize data-driven decision making to maximize profitability, control costs, and drive revenue growth across all segments.
**Team & Culture Champion**
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; ensure succession planning and leadership bench strength are always in place.
- Drive a high-performance, guest-centric culture where every associate feels valued, heard, and empowered.
- Build and maintain a workplace environment that is energetic, inclusive, and results-focused.
**Market Leadership & Brand Stewardship**
- Act as the hotel’s chief brand ambassador in the local community, with ownership of the hotel’s reputation, partnerships, and civic engagement.
- Lead community involvement initiatives, enhance visibility, and foster partnerships that position the hotel as the premier choice for travelers and events.
- Stay attuned to market trends, competitor activity, and business intelligence to continuously adjust strategies.
**Required Qualifications & Attributes**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive senior leadership experience in full-service hotel management.
- Proven track record of delivering against financial targets, driving GOP, and improving asset value.
- Advanced understanding of P&L statements, budget forecasting, cost control, and financial modeling.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing Sales & Marketing strategy execution.
- Charismatic leadership presence with a hands-on approach — able to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and lead change.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; confident public speaker and negotiator.
- Tech-savvy, systems-focused, and highly organized with a keen eye for operational excellence.
