**Job Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team at June on Cambie.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeaour.
- Manage reservations if anchoring and working alongside anchor as a floater.
- Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and updating reservations as needed.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support the team during peak hours by assisting with serving when necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a background in guest services or hospitality.
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with food service operations and understanding of customer service principles.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Resy or OpenTable, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable dining experience for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Join us in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
