Warehouse Technician

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this job is responsible for all day-to-day activities within the warehouse in an efficient manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Shipping
- Moving of Materials within Warehouse Locations
- Pick and Pack
Receiving
- Offloading and inspecting of materials
- Put away of material
- Picking and sorting of materials
- Maintain warehouse control and security of tools & equipment
- Forklift training and WHIMIS
- General lifting knowledge and familiarity of crane movements and procedures
- General knowledge of oil field material
- Knowledge of hand signals and radio communication
- Ability to work safe and recognize safety risks to yourself and others
HSEQ
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with appropriate HSEQ procedures
- Ensure that all formal role specific / applicable procedures, work instructions and safety standards are complied with at all times
- Report any significant incidents / breaches of policy or regulation to the line manager
- Notify line supervisor of any hazards
- Attend safety meetings

- Previous experience in an industrial warehouse environment considered an asset.
- Previous reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience considered an asset.
Training Requirements:
Current Forklift Certification a definite asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: $25.98 per hour
