**Event Server / Event Bartender (Weekday evening & weekend)**

**Responsibilities**
- **(Server)**_
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Be knowledgeable about our events menu and all allergies that are associated
- Provide attentive service to guests by refilling drinks as needed and checking in during meals
- Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience
- Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction, resolve guest complaints, or refer to management when necessary
- Inspect event space, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety in assigned section
- Assist with private dining room or event set up and break down
- Lead to achieve desired results in high quality service and experience for our guests

**_(Bartender)_**
- Promptly receive drink order chits and pour all beverages according to Ricarda’s standards
- Ensure accuracy when making all beverage orders
- Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
- Present beverages in a clear and organized manner at the service bar pick up area
- Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team members
- Stock and maintain all bar products including mis en place
- Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
- Count and take inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Receive beer, wine and liquor orders on delivery dates
- Wash, polish and arrange glasses in a neat and attractive display
- Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
- Follow all food and beverage safety standards and systems
- Ensuring all opening and closing duties are completed for the bar area
- When not busy, assist with guests and servers in the dining area
- Abide to Health & Safety policies and procedures as well as all food safety regulations and best practices

**Qualifications**
- Smart Serve certification
- Minimum 1 year food and beverage experience
- Good knowledge of food and beverage
- Very flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and Management demands
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional guest service
- Flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

$15 per hour plus gratuities
