We are looking for a full-time Accounting Functional Consultant to work for our Canadian and US businesses supporting customers around the world. We offer a hybrid work model with a mix of home working and occasional office work. The majority of the work can be done remotely. Occasionally, travel to client sites will be required.
- **The Role**:_
- Advise and train clients on all financial aspects of their Odoo ERP implementations during system architecture, implementation, and post go-live.
- Manage several implementations, in different project stages, at the same time.
- Manage the finance and accounting portion of the implementation while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Configure the Odoo Accounting Module based on the client's needs.
- Assist the client's Finance and Accounting staff in the transfer and optimization of their chart of accounts into Odoo.
- Assist the client's Finance and Accounting staff with the transfer of their cut-over opening balance numbers from their old legacy systems into the Odoo integrated ERP platform.
- Train the client's Finance and Accounting staff to perform and optimize thein reconciliation processes including banks, credit cards and Inventory Stock Interim Accounts.
- Train the client's Finance and Accounting staff on how to generate Financial and operational reports in Odoo.

- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- You are a CPA or working towards one (or equivalent experience)
- You are fluent (spoken and written) in English.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting would be an asset
- Fluency in French written and spoken would be a strong asset

Nous recherchons un consultant fonctionnel comptable à temps plein pour travailler pour nos entreprises canadiennes et américaines au service de clients du monde entier. Nous proposons un modèle de travail hybride combinant travail à domicile et travail occasionnel au bureau. La majorité du travail peut être effectuée à distance. Occasionnellement, des déplacements sur les sites clients seront nécessaires.
- **Le rôle**:_
- Conseiller et former les clients sur tous les aspects financiers de leurs implémentations Odoo ERP pendant l'architecture du système, la mise en œuvre et après la mise en service.
- Gérer plusieurs implémentations, à différentes étapes du projet, en même temps.
- Gérer la partie financière et comptable de la mise en œuvre tout en entretenant de solides relations avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.
- Configurez le module de comptabilité Odoo en fonction des besoins du client.
- Assister le personnel Finance et Comptabilité du client dans le transfert et l'optimisation de son plan comptable vers Odoo.
- Aider le personnel financier et comptable du client avec le transfert de leurs solde d'ouverture de de leurs anciens systèmes existants vers la plateforme ERP intégrée Odoo.
- Former le personnel financier et comptable du client pour exécuter et optimiser les processus de rapprochement / réconciliation, y compris les comptes bancaires, les cartes de crédit et les comptes intérimaires de stocks.
