We proudly make everything in-house and always strive for the highest standards in everything we do. Our Pastry Cooks/Bakers are responsible for the preparation and assembly of pastries and the mixing, shaping, and baking of all breads.

**Role Responsibilities**
- _**Uphold standards**_ _for quality, cleanliness, daily equipment maintenance, organization, and safety in all areas of baking and pastry prep_
- _**Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities**_ _with the ability to stay calm under pressure_
- _**Time management skills**_ _and the ability to work on their own or as part of a team_
- _**Communicate clearly**_ _with management and the rest of the team. _
- _**Ability to follow instructions and training**_ _based on guides and training materials._

**Qualifications**
- _**2+ years minimum experience**_working in a high-production bakery, pastry shop or cafe_
- _**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**_
- _**Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency**_ _without compromise_
- _**Ability to work efficiently and cleanly**_
- _**Punctuality and ability to work early mornings, if needed,**_ _working in a high-production bakery or cafe_
- _**Excellent communication**_ _and interpersonal skills_
- _**Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency**_ _without compromise_
- _**Ability to work efficiently and cleanly**_

**Additional Details**
- _**Discounts**_ _- Free meal & drink on shift and discounts when off shift._
- _**Wage**_ _- Starting Wage - $18/hr + Tips (approx $4-5/hr)_
- _**Shifts**_ _- Daytime shifts only, no night shifts_

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking/Pastry: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe Certificate or equivalent (preferred)
