One of the cornerstones of these investments is to build our Marketing, Sales, Category, Ecommerce & Revenue Growth Management (RGM) capability through the addition of dedicated local resources, empowered through full P&L ownership and accountability to the Canadian business. As a Senior Strategy & Revenue Growth Manager, you’ll lead a team of high-performing professionals empowered to own the business.
This Category Advisor role works directly with the retailer to champion planogram builds, provide in-depth analysis of category dynamics, and uncover opportunities to grow the Adult Care and Family Care categories in the areas of product mix, shelf merchandising, promotion, and profitability. This role required succinct, compelling and timely communication of Category Development principles and opportunities with a focus on the needs of the consumer to support customer and Kimberly-Clark objectives.
This position reports to the Category Management Leader and interacts internally with their assigned customer team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop category overviews and action plans, utilizing category management software that will deliver customer category objectives.
- Assist in developing category knowledge and expertise in the Sales team to enable Kimberly-Clark to take full advantage of all sales opportunities.
- Participate in customer presentations, and interface with category decision-makers within assigned customer organizations on category developments and opportunities.
- Communicate with Marketing brand management personnel on key category initiatives and developments to ensure category management principles are included when developing products, marketing plans, and programs.
- Contribute, when required, in situations, projects, and activities not included in other principal accountabilities to assist in the accomplishment of business objectives and personnel development.
- Contribute to the achievement of business and personal objectives by seeking and responding to performance and development feedback, and by initiating personal development activities to enhance functional effectiveness. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience.
- 5-10+ years previous experience in category management with a Consumer Packaged Goods company.
- Space Management Planogram (Modular) Software.
- POS systems such as Walmart Retail link, LDIA, etc.
- Broad knowledge of Kimberly-Clark organizational structure; products and categories; and Customer Development policies and procedures is required.
- Ability to develop and interpret market, business and financial analysis supporting the execution of national / regional business.
