**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Store Operations**:

- Oversee daily operations of the gas station and convenience store.
- Ensure all equipment (pumps, registers, refrigeration) is functioning properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the premises.
- **Customer Service**:

- Ensure customers receive prompt, friendly service.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle escalations professionally.
- **Inventory & Merchandising**:

- Monitor stock levels and place orders to maintain inventory.
- Manage product displays and promotional materials.
- Minimize losses through effective inventory control and shrinkage prevention.
- **Sales & Financial Management**:

- Meet or exceed sales goals and profitability targets.
- Prepare daily cash reports, reconcile sales.
- Maintain financial records and submit reports to head office as required.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain fuel logbooks and ensure proper fuel handling procedures.
- Conduct regular safety drills and staff training.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or retail management is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail or gas station experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
