**The Short Story**

We make wine for amazing people Water’n’Wine is Truro’s premier urban winery, making personalized small-batch products for our wine-loving clients. And we’re growing If you enjoy serving the public and have a passion for wine, beer, cider, or spirits, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time retail sales associate position with opportunities for personal and professional growth. You will help your clients select the best wines for their tastes, and assist them through the sales process and with packaging.

Main responsibilities include:

- Typical sales clerk duties
- Assisting clients in choosing wine and beer products for home and in-store brewing
- Assisting in manufacturing and packaging wine

**Qualifications**

You need to:

- Be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly. We do a lot of heavy lifting here.
- Be a people person. Our business is built on relationships with repeat clients, and getting excited about wine with our people.
- Be comfortable using a desktop computer and a tablet.
- Be available to work occasional evenings and Saturdays.

It’s a bonus if you have:

- Passion for wine and/or beer, cider, spirits, etc
- Experience with winemaking
- Experience in boutique sales or the hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, etc).
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or another environment that demands a high level of cleanliness for food preparation

**What we offer**
- Starting wage of $16.00 per hour (or higher if you have experience).

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week
