**INTERVIEWS ARE IN PERSON ONLY, NOT REMOTELY.**
**CANDIDATE MUST BE A CANADIAN RESIDENT OR CITIZEN.**

(This is not a position for traffic & logistic)
- Communicate daily with overseas suppliers to follow up on pending purchasing orders
- Coordinate details on new orders from the starting stage to the time the goods are shipped and to clarify all requirements (factory audits, inspections and testing) for orders being shipped on a direct basis
- Communication with new sources to compare prices
- Sourcing of new items for development with existing and/or new suppliers
- Negotiation of prices and payment terms with suppliers
- Preparation of samples to send for quotations and/or for development
- Analysis of samples that are received and/or sent out
- Meeting with suppliers to discuss pending orders and to review samples and prices
- Keeping track and ensuring that any claims made to vendors for defective goods or for any other problems are cleared.
- Identifying and informing the sales office of any problems with deliveries or pricing issues
- Communicating with sales representatives who are in need of specific information about a product
- Forwarding pricing or information related to a product to our Sales Dept.

*Knowledge of Chinese language, an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
