Program Coordinator

**Duties**:
- Assist the Program Manager in developing the project plan.
- Coordinate with program trainers to design the curriculum and training materials.
- Organize logistics for the training sessions, including venue booking, equipment setup, and participant registration.
- Communicate with participants, providing them with necessary information and support.
- Coordinate with external organizations to provide mentorship opportunities for participants.
- Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing support throughout the training program.
- Collect feedback from participants and trainers to improve the course content and delivery.
**Qualifications**:
- Community College diploma or equivalent, preference will be given to those with a Career and Work Diploma.
- TESL Ontario certification is an asset.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience coordinating an newcomer language training program.
- Must be able to work flexible hours. This includes evenings and weekends as required.
- Strong coordination, organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
- Verbal and written fluency in English, ability to speak another language would be asset.
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery of information sessions virtually and face-to-face.
- Must have access to a car.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID- 19.

**Starting Salary Range**:
- $38.54 per hour
