Server Assistant/host/ess

We are currently looking for **SERVER ASSISTANTS/HOSTESS/HOST/**to join our fine dining Italian Restaurant**.** Located in North Vancouver’s Lower Londsale, this is the first passive house restaurant in Vancouver. We are looking to build an amazing team and culture with the opening of our restaurant.

Hosts/Server Assistants are essential to our business as they are the life and spirit of our restaurants; from directly before a guest enters, throughout their entire experience, all the way up to the moment they leave.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years minimum experience as a server/ kitchen/Hostess staff in a fast-paced environment
- Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service
- Certification in liquor, wine (WSET) and food service courses is an asset
- Excellent wine, cocktail and food knowledge
- A positive, energetic outlook and a passion for food and beverage
- A strong sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of others
- Able to stay calm, prioritize and synchronize the sequence of service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.65 per hour

- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
