**Forklift Operator (Warehouse Evening Shift) - Distribution Center**

Get ready to build your career as we continue to build our company. As a valuable member of our team your training will start on our day shift picking orders, this will enable us to work with you to build your knowledge of our products and procedures. As you become more familiar with the products you will be handling you will transition fully into the Forklift Operator role.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting with warehouse operations
- Accurately assemble orders using forklift and electronic warehouse system
- Load palletize items in a manner that suits space requirements and eliminates any damage to merchandise
- Operates forklift in a safe manner
- Complete daily forklift checklists
- Performs general cleanup and maintenance as required both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be dependable & detail orientated
- Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs as there is constant standing, bending stretching and lifting
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential
- Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program
- Valid Class 5 drivers’ licence
