**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysis of blueprints, plans, specifications and scope of work provided by client
- Perform material take-offs from architectural and structural drawings
- Solicitation and evaluation of subcontractors based on price, quality, service and support
- Preparation of final bid & supporting documents to submit to client
- Manage the estimating project from start to finish addressing any problems that arise

**Experience & Education**
- Two years' practical structural estimation experience
- Educational background in engineering, architectural technology, civil technology and/ or construction management
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, set deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Excellent organization skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of revenue, cost, gross margin and cash management
- Knowledge of Fabtrol, Revit, SDS/2, Tekla, AutoCAD or other estimating software is an asset
