**Job Description** AECOM** is searching for an **Operational Finance Analyst** for a temporary position that will be based in our Markham, ON office but will be expected to work on-site at a client location in the Whitby area.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Working directly with Works and Finance staff at the Region of Durham in updating and, ultimately, finalizing the 2025 Water Supply and Sanitary Sewerage Capital Budget and Forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of the PowerPoint presentation that will be delivered to Council for budget approval.
- Assessing cost estimates and projections provided.
- Updating the Region’s standard budgetary tables and tracking user rate projections to ensure there is sufficient budget available to incorporate the various projects proposed in the upcoming year.
- Attending and participating in meetings amongst Regional team members when evaluating project priorities and budget limitations.
- Seeking input from relevant staff members with support from members of the Sustainable Infrastructure Division.
- Collecting, organizing, and retaining all commentary provided in an orderly and logical manner, all in consultation with Sustainable Infrastructure staff and in accordance with the Region’s standards and document management processes.
- Ensuring the Capital Budget and Forecast is complete and accurate in accordance with the Region’s standards of practice.
- Working collaboratively with Regional Staff, offering support and assistance where needed.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- Diploma with 6 years of related work experience.
