Front End Driver Position

Location: North York, ON

Start Time: 6 AM

Schedule Options:

- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday to Saturday

Salary and Benefits:

- Hourly Rate: $27+
- Overtime: Available

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR)
- Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect and transport solid waste
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and compliance with laws
- Collaborate with Dispatch and Route Supervisor for efficiency and customer service
- Use FleetMind for work documentation
- Complete route documentation accurately
- Report any incidents or issues to the Route Supervisor

Working Conditions:

- Drive commercial trucks through the yard and from dealers
- Operate in tight environments with overhead hazards
- Work in various weather conditions
- Perform time-sensitive pickups and deliveries

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Must be insurable to operate a commercial vehicle
- Hold a Class D Ontario license with Z airbrake endorsement (AZ preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of front-end truck experience
- MUST be willing to be trained on Roll Off Trucks
- Proficient in maneuvering and backing commercial trucks
- Clean CVOR driver abstract for the past 24 months
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and customer focus
- Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehension for report documentation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
