Our **Dufferin Street location** is looking to add a **Front End Manager **to our team

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Front End department, including customer service and staff scheduling. The Front End Manager overseas all the duties of the cashiers and moves between different cash registers to assist cashiers with their work.
- Greet customers in an engaging manner, connecting with them to ensure they’ve found everything they were looking for, and that they have enjoyed their shopping experience with us
- Accurately and efficiently scan, process, and bag customer orders
- Follow _SmartServe_ guidelines when processing sale of alcohol
- Accurately handle cash and EFT transactions
- Provide customers with information on our unique offerings, sale items, and cross-selling opportunities
- Provide management with feedback from customers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies
- Must be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience working in Cash management is required; 5 years of experience as a Head Cashier is preferred
- Food Handler’s and _SmartServe_ Certification is required. Post-secondary in a management skills program is an asset
- Health and safety orientated with a passion for cleanliness adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Physically fit with strong manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and lifting for long periods of time
- Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
