**Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced **General Manager** to lead our team at Cilantro & Chive in **Red Deer, Alberta**. This key leadership role is central to our continued success, helping to deliver memorable guest experiences while supporting a strong, values-driven team. The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations, team development, and strategic execution in collaboration with the ownership group.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service and smooth execution
- Lead, mentor, and support a front-of-house team of 25-35 staff members
- Be hands-on during peak periods, supporting floor service and maintaining flow
- Book and coordinate large group and private dining reservations
- Manage inventory, invoicing, and ordering systems to maintain stock and control costs
- Create and cost menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Maintain scheduling budgets and forecast sales projections
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor financial performance and support labour and cost controls
- Collaborate with ownership on monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals
- Support marketing efforts, promotions, and community initiatives

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and back-end restaurant software (Micros POS experience an asset)
- Comfortable with managing delivery platforms such as SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, and online ordering systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and projections
- A passion for hospitality, great food, and local beer

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
