With strong systems, durable gear, and a professional culture, we get it done—no drama, no cutting corners. **The Opportunity** We're hiring a full-time **Automotive Accessory Installer** for a long-term role. This position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, who enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in high-quality, detail-driven work. **What You’ll Install** - Rear & Front Bumpers - Running Boards - Skid Plates - Roof Racks - Horn Kits - Windows - Lights (non-wired) - Winches - Awnings - Other premium van accessories **What You’ll Do** - Install BACKLAND accessories on Sprinter and Transit vans - Follow detailed procedures and meet expected timeframes - Use hand and power tools safely and effectively - Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe - Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates - Deliver professional service during customer interactions - Take ownership of your work—accuracy and quality are key **Who We’re Looking For** - **Automotive Service Technician Certification (Alberta)** - _recommended but not required_ - **RV Technician License** - _an asset, but not required_ - Experience in mechanical work or vehicle upfitting - Familiarity with Sprinter or Transit platforms is a strong asset - Mechanical and basic electrical understanding - **EAGER TO LEARN**, detail-focused, and accountable - **HARD WORKING** - self-motivated and reliable - A team player who values professionalism and quality craftsmanship **Wage & Bonus Structure** **Hourly Wage**: $20-$24/hour, depending on experience and certification **Performance Bonuses (Starting up to $300 per pay period)**: Installers can earn bonus pay by: - Completing jobs within allocated timeframes - Avoiding errors or rework due to installer mistakes - Keeping a clean, organized workspace - Supporting teammates and maintaining a positive attitude **Schedule & Overtime** - Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (37.5-40 hours/week) - Occasional overtime may be required to complete installs - Overtime can be: - Paid at 1.5x your regular rate (if approved by a manager) - OR banked as hour-for-hour paid time off (with advance approval) **Benefits** - Extended health and dental coverage - Life insurance - On-site parking - Store discounts on BACKLAND gear - Paid Alberta statutory holidays - Vacation time: -
