The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for analytics to drive continuous improvement through operational process changes or network optimization projects. Understand and help execute defined financial goals and metrics related to transportation management, including but not limited to: load factors, mode usage and route guide compliance. Participate on project teams as needed and train new employees on systems and processes. In addition, this role may assist with product recalls and carrier bid process. The analyst will work closely with the Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Finance and IT to assist with developing long term sustainable decision support tools.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate and lead transportation related projects and testing, related to both transportation system changes and changes to systems that interface with the transportation system.
- Report and analyze data to show root cause lane issues by carrier or customer. Understanding of FTI reporting, and extensive knowledge of excel
- Work with cross functional groups in support of metrics improvement and working on customer related issues
- Assist with weekly OS&D review meetings with 3PLs and develop action plans to mitigate risks
- Work with Logistics Manager to build inbound / outbound logístical model capabilities
- Work with US Operational teams on transportation and warehousing issues and projects
- Provide weekly/monthly analytics across all aspects of transportation and warehousing allowing for quick decision making to drive results
- Additional duties may include training other team members, reporting, projects and cross training on other rolls within supply chain logistics

**Supervision**:

- Reports to Transportation and Warehouse Manager

**Qualifications, Education & Experience**:

- A University Degree (preferably in logistics or inventory management)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a transportation & warehouse operation/supporting role, with experience in other areas of supply chain being a plus
- Experience working with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and OTM is an asset
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Must have a high attention to detail
- Ability to lead and facilitate meetings; quickly synthesize information to help drive results
- Can effectively interact and communicate with cross functional groups
- Must have good negotiation & communications skills
- Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented, collaborative, accountable and imaginative
