Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization helping to reinforce the Allstate Canada story with employees through communications and events. The world has gone through a period of immense change over the last couple of years and this is an exciting opportunity to lead integrated communications and events strategies as we work to adapt to our customers’ needs in today’s operating environment. **Accountabilities**: Manage and execute internal communications strategies in support of programs and initiatives across Allstate Canada’s brands (Allstate, Pembridge and Pafco). Manage event planning and execution for a variety of internal and external events to engage employees, Senior Leadership, and the Insurance Broker community. Generate and manage content on the employee engagement platform. Manage and execute external communications strategies to engage and inform the Insurance Broker community. Develop communications strategies to support change management initiatives that engage the target audience, provide insight into the journey and, ultimately, help to achieve a successful transition. Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of communications initiatives and programs, events, and the performance of communications platforms, ensuring recommendations are rooted in data and analytics. Conduct research into trends, best practices, and employee feedback to optimize effective communication planning and outcomes. **Qualifications**: Minimum 10 years of demonstrated communications and events experience, ideally in the insurance industry, professional services, or the financial sector. Additional experience as a communications product owner or content owner for an employee engagement platform considered an asset. High level of oral and written communication skills and advanced storytelling capabilities, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand. Proven experience consulting with, and writing for, executives and senior management, working with interdisciplinary teams and managing communications processes. Proven experience leading and executing large-scale and smaller, off-site events at the leadership level and organization wide Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and consultation skills, along with audience needs-assessment capabilities and proven project management skills. Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks Ability to travel a few times a year. **Bonus qualification**: - Fluency in French and English would be an asset Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
