**Position**: Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
**Cornell Animal Hospital** is a well-established veterinary clinic committed to providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. Our team is driven by a love for animals and a dedication to delivering high-quality veterinary services in a compassionate manner.
As a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities including:
- **Animal Care**: Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments. Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
- **Client Interaction**: Greeting pet owners, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Managing medical records, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to handle varying shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
