This team works closely together to provide direct practice support to the Indigenous Child and Family Service Agencies (ICFSAs) and partners with the provincial practice branch on important initiatives. You'll collaborate with passionate professionals, making a meaningful impact on Indigenous communities, while benefiting from a team that values both independent contributions and strong collective support. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive. **The Role** As Provincial Practice Manager, you’ll play a key role in providing guidance and consultation to ICFSAs, ensuring services are delivered in line with established standards. You will support agencies in implementing audit recommendations and advise senior leadership on child and family services under delegation agreements with Indigenous agencies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to provincial initiatives and build your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on Indigenous communities through culturally competent and thoughtful practice. **Qualifications**: **Education and Experience Requirements** - BSW or MSW (preferred), or BA/MA Child and Youth Care; or M. Ed. Counselling/MA Clinical Psychology having completed a practicum in family and child welfare; AND/OR - Bachelor’s degree in social sciences; OR - May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience where an extensive experience in social work principles and practices is demonstrated - Minimum five years’ experience in social work with particular emphasis on current child welfare/protection experience - Minimum two years' experience in a social services setting providing consultation and advice to agencies - Experience in client services and/or partner consultation and consensus building - Supervisory experience - Minimum three years’ extensive experience working with Indigenous people, communities and/or Indigenous Child and Family Service Agencies - Experience in practice oversight processes Please note that interviews will be conducted the week of Oct 28, 2024. **About this Position**: This is a temporary opportunity until June 1, 2025.
