**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of clients.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Support clients with hospice care needs, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life stages.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or nursing homes.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, including dementia care and hospice care practices.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence at home.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high-quality care.
- Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is a plus.
