To be successful as a Shop Supervisor you must be able to multitask and oversee several operations at a time.

**Responsibilities**

- Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
- Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project
- Create a production schedule for the job
- Implement, control and review the production schedule
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Set and monitor quality standards of products
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Preparing and updating the project schedule and delegate the work to the team based on individual strength, skill sets and experience levels
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
- Schedule regular maintenance for equipment
- Implement cost control programs
- Ordering and purchasing the required material and equipment
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety regulations are met
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule assignments
- Supervise the mechanical design team
- Guiding designers through their projects by reviewing and approving the design and making sure the quality is up to standard;
- Train personnel on new equipment and review all equipment and safety procedures based on necessity and scheduled reviews
- Ensure workplace is safe and clean through task delegation and educating personnel
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Work Experience Requirements**

- Minimum 5 years of production control supervisory experience required
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving abilities and conflict management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Education Requirements**

***
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Degree or Industrial Management
- Proficient in MS Office Suite software; Advance Excel
