Aircraft Appearance Coordinator

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Maintenance this individual is responsible for the coordination, oversight and tracking of Porter Airlines aircraft cleanliness programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day guidance and direction for Porter and contracted aircraft cleaning teams throughout our network, ensuring the execution of Aircraft Overnight Grooming, Interior Deep Cleaning, and Exterior Aircraft Washes.
- Create and maintain a cabin apperance and grooming standards manual.
- Ensuring cleaning procedures and cleaning products are aligned throughout our network.
- Track and record all work completed.
- Build and maintain aircraft cleaning tracking spreadsheets.
- Schedule unforeseen/unplanned aircraft cleaning tasks.
- Identify gaps in our cleaning frequency, and engage operational departments and aircraft cleaning personnel to service aircraft.
- Ensure all interior and exterior stakeholders are aware and aligned with cleaning needs and plans.
- Ensuring our aircraft cleanliness standards are met throughout our network.
- Conduct audits and spot checks to ensure quality of work.
- Attend procedural and document audits from various entities.
- Resolving Porter and contractor aircraft cleaning scheduling issues.
- Notifying management of any deficiencies, scheduling and quality of work issues.
- Inventory checks and ordering cleaning supplies as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines related to aircraft cleaning and appearance (PHAC - Public Health Agency of Canada)
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to aircraft cleanliness and appearance.
- Actively participates in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in airline operations or business administrative settings.
- Aircraft Maintenance background an Asset.
- Excellent and proven organizational skills.
- High school diploma with airline operations and/or aircraft grooming background.
