Carbon Fiber Technician

As a member of our high-performing carbon fiber team, you will be joining the morning or afternoon shift. A carbon fiber technician will be responsible for meeting production KPIs, keeping a clean and organized environment, and managing processes.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Utilize carbon fiber to manufacture parts by preparing molds, laying up materials, and curing the laid-up carbon fiber parts.
- Operate equipment such as grinders, sanders, drill press, and media blaster in the post-cure area to finish parts to required specifications.
- Handle chemicals safely and effectively for various aspects of the job, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Work in a collaborative team environment, contributing towards achieving production targets and goals.
- Ensure quality control measures are followed throughout the manufacturing process to produce high-quality carbon fiber parts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials and chemicals.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in carbon fiber production techniques.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of the job role.
- Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support team objectives

**Considered Asset**:

- Experience with carbon fiber
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with auto body work

We are currently looking for someone for our **afternoon shift** which is from **2:00pm - 12:30pm | Monday - Thursday.**

Pay: $18.50-$30.00 per hour
