Job Title: Operations Manager

**Subsidiary**:Miller Paving Limited

**Summary**:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for an Area Maintenance Contract typically overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations across a designated area, ensuring that facilities, assets, and equipment are maintained effectively and efficiently. The Manager will also be responsible for training, coaching and development of direct reports.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee Area Maintenance Contract
- Maintain facilities, assets and equipment
- Training, coaching and development of direct reports
- Performance monitoring and reporting
- Inventory and asset management
- Identifying and executing in scope and extra work
- Health and safety
- Attracting, developing and retaining a high performing team
- Managing financial outcomes
- Quality control and compliance

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of three years of experience in operations management, or related industry
- Experience in the highway maintenance and/or road construction industry including significant budgetary and supervisory responsibilities
- Must maintain a valid Class G Driver’s License, DZ will be considered an asset
- Ability to work the maintenance schedule which may include weekends and/or night shift
- Financial knowledge of accrual accounting and budgeting
- Knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control will be considered an asset
- Thorough knowledge of the applicable OH&S legislations and MTO specifications will be considered an asset
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Willingness to travel.
- Have a valid driver’s licence
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be a team player

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
