The Assistant Night Monitor ensures the protection of the residents of the center, responding to certain needs and emergency situations when it is required. He will write follow-up reports and will report of any behaviour observed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supports and monitors the residents under his responsibility
- Ensures and maintains the order, discipline and safety of the residents
- Validates the quality of care given according to the policies and procedures of the organization;
- Carries out patrol rounds to ensure regular monitoring
- Report immediately any dangerous situation, incident or accident in the shortest possible time to the appropriate staff member
- Takes action in accordance with the etablishment’s regulations to prevent incident
- Provides assistance to residents in need of intervention and other similar situations
- Takes care of the general needs of the residents
- See to the general maintenance of the premises
- Enforces the rules of the establishment regarding the internal and external circulation of personnel, visitors, clients and suppliers
- Applies prevention measures and verifies the proper functioning of protection systems and collaborates with the various municipal services
- Ensures that all of the organization’s policies and procedures are followed and prioritizes the quality of care provided, as well as the safety and well-being of residents
- Participate on the onboarding and coaching of new staff
- Performs any other related tasks

**REQUIRED PROFILE**
- Hold a high school diploma
- Bilingual : French and English both spoken and written
- Observational skills and great self-control
- Sense of responsibility and fulfillment of responsibilities
- Honesty and good judgment
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Good ethics, confidentiality, empathy

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- **Job Type**: Permanent, full-time, 37,5 hours per week
- **Schedule**: Nights from 11pm-7am
