** Title**: Medical Device Coordinator
**Salary**: $74,663 - $83,995- $102,660 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 9am-4pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Sinclaire office Vancouver/ Hybrid(50% from office) remote options could be available depending on the appropriate approval pathways

** About the role**

As Medical Device Coordinator, you will work within the Community Based Diagnostics and Devices team to coordinate the lifecycle management of medical devices across community health settings and with provincial partners. Participates in developing and maintaining medical device lifecycle management policies, processes and procedures in alignment with quality standards.

** About you**

To be successful in this role you will have;
** Education & Occupational Certification, Experience**
- Completion of a post-secondary program in biomedical engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of five (5) years’ recent, related experience including direct involvement in device lifecycle management in a pertinent clinical field (e.g., diagnostics, biomedical engineering), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Certification by a professional body such as the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) or the Canadian Board of Examiners for Biomedical Engineering and Dialysis Technologists and Technicians or a demonstrably equivalent provincial or international certification pathway

** Travel**
- Travel to rural and remote Indigenous communities is required approximately 50% of the time

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred, or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
