Reporting to the IT Manager, the Tech Support is responsible for desk side support, escalation and documentation.

The successful applicant must have the ability to prioritize and respond to help solve technical issues for the staff in a professional manner across a Windows environment including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and phones.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Support company staff and vendors with daily requests in a timely fashion and ensure all actions are documented
- Assist in user account setup
- Maintain and update technical documentation and procedures for common issues and solutions
- Collaborate with IT Manager to identify opportunities for improving system performance and user experience

**Technical knowledge and expertise**
- Basic understanding of the Windows environment and PowerShell
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Solid network and security awareness.
- Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022 experience
- Fundamentals of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Virtualization technologies experience
- Understanding of Azure and IOS is an asset

**Preferred skills and abilities**
- Post secondary education in computer tech, networks, and/or security
- Industry Certifications
- Able to prioritize issues
- Ability to multitask and have strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Motivated to complete tasks and deadlines
- Driven and curious

**Essential role requirements**
- Excellent communication
- Maintain a professional and mature demeanor under all circumstances
- Willing to go above and beyond

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
