Full-Time Position 40 hours per week.
**Description**
Purple Tree Child Care is seeking an RECE Supervisor for a licensed child care facility.
Job responsibilities include:
*Thorough knowledge of CCEYA implement and plan so that center is in accordance with such document.
- Knowledgeable on current child care philosophy, Ministry of Education and Toronto Public Health Requirements.
- Monthly Budgets for House, Office, Art Supplies and more.
- Reviews weekly programming for Toddler, Preschool and Before & Afterschool Programs and prepares monthly calendars.
- Lead staff to develop and deliver daily activities that support and promote the health and development of the children 1.5 - 10 years of age.
- Plan, organize and coordinate resources, equipment and supplies in order to ensure smooth delivery of the program
- Arrange backups to ensure the licensing/ratio requirement of the program
as well as leading staff meetings and reviews
*Communicates effectively with parents regarding special events, their child’s progress, and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct tours and keep track of the wait list
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in working in a child care center. Minimum 1 year as an Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor Position.
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (R.E.C.E.) and in good standing
- Current Infant/Child C.P.R., and First Aid
- High standard of professionalism
- Enthusiasm for working with children and ensuring children and clients are cared for equally and in accordance with Purple Tree Child Care standards
- Partnership Management Style: leads by personal example, coaching, teamwork, but not hesitant to make decisions and direct activities. Manages google drive, excel, and Microsoft tools effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to listen and respond appropriately to clients, children and staff
- High energy level with a strong work ethic
- A clear criminal reference check is required
