**AWS Class 1 Truck Driver / Picker Operator**

Alberta Wilbert Sales (AWS) is a precast concrete manufacturer specializing in water and wastewater products.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver. The successful applicant's primary responsibilities will be loading, delivering, and off-loading concrete products utilizing a picker truck. Having a picker ticket is an asset but is not a requirement. Please note that the role of a Class 1 driver with AWS will include various duties within the scope of our business. The applicant must be able to work in a team environment. We are looking for more than a driver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Load, deliver, and offload concrete products to various locations in Southern Alberta.
- Receive products in Calgary yard using a forklift.
- Ensure AWS safety program and protocols are followed.
- Utilize articulating picker truck and trailer for hauling and delivering product.
- Securing loads according to legislative requirements.
- Complete pre-trip inspections.
- Complete Job hazard assessments.
- Communicate transportation deficiencies to managers.
- Maintain log books via Geotrac.
- Overtime may be required for peak months.
- Perform minor equipment upkeep and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clientele.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Class 1 license with air brakes endorsement.
- Minimum of two years of Class 1 driving experience.
- Clean drivers abstract. Submit with resume please.
- Picker truck experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be in good physical condition in order to perform the duties required for this position.

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour
