As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for the packaging, distributing, shipping medications and the management and replenishment of medication inventory levels under the general supervision of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Recent hospital pharmacy experience in rural, remote locations in North Zone is an asset, with working knowledge of Pharmacy terms and medication names. Retail pharmacy experience and graduate of a recognized pharmacy assistant program acceptable to the Employer. Demonstrate proficiency in the following: communication (verbal and written), interpersonal abilities, organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams as required, computer skills. Must be in good physical condition as majority of shift involves typing, static positions, visual acuity, heavy lifting and grip strength, twisting, standing, crouching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods of time. Demonstration of reliability required of essential work in healthcare.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
FastPak Elite experience, preferred. EPIC trained experience, preferred.
