Join to apply for the Clinic Administrator - PT role at Neighbourly Pharmacy1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Clinic Administrator - PT role at Neighbourly PharmacyNeighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Clinic Administrator to join our team at our PharmaChoice store in Barrhead, AB.This position is for 2-3 days per week, split between the clinic and the pharmacy.ResponsibilitiesReport to the Medical Clinic Manager, providing administrative support and coordinating daily operations for doctors, staff, visitors, and patientsManage scheduling, organize patient files, and address patient inquiries to ensure smooth clinic operationsWelcome patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments while maintaining patient records and accounts using Input Health EMR systemEnsure appointments stay on schedule by notifying patients and physicians of arrivals and delays, optimizing provider time and treatment room utilizationComfort patients by addressing questions and managing anxieties, and maintain the reception areaManage financial tasks, including recording charges, updating accounts, and processing third-party claimsMaintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information, and complete accurate documentation under clinical supervisionOversee office inventory, order supplies, and arrange for equipment servicing or repairsMaintain room cleanliness, assist with patient exams, and perform general cleaning as neededSupport the Medical Clinic Manager, Clinic Nurse, and Physician with various administrative tasksQualificationsPreference for candidates with Medical Office experience or training, including Medical Office Administration educationProficiency with Accuro EMR and experience as a receptionist in a medical setting are strong assetsFamiliar with office procedures, telephone communications, electronic record-keeping, and medical terminologyStrong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and collaborate as part of a teamDemonstrates accuracy, confidentiality, tact, discretion, and integrity in all tasksInnovative thinker with problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergenciesPassionate about healthcare excellence and committed to maintaining high standardsSuccessful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the sensitive nature of the positionWho We AreNeighbourly Pharmacy is Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
