**Position Overview**

We are seeking a **Tax Analyst** to join our Tax team. In this role, you will work closely with our Tax Specialist and collaborate with business units to support tax compliance, reporting, and related projects.

This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across multiple areas of taxation, including corporate tax returns, GST/HST filings, and audit support. If you have strong attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and a desire to grow in the field of taxation, we encourage you to apply.

**Key Recurring Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with corporate accounting team and business units to obtain tax reporting and tax compliance information
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns
- Where required, assist with the preparation of the consolidated tax provision and tax disclosure note to the financial statements
- Assist in the review and filing of GST/HST returns
- Review and prepare responses for GST/HST audits
- Liaise with CRA auditors and external auditors as required to facilitate inquiries and audits
- Assist with the calculation and coordination of monthly tax instalments
- Maintain tax attributes for the operating groups

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Accounting designation
- 1-2 years’ professional experience in taxation is preferred
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Strong decision making, communication (both verbal and written) and analytical skills
- Organized self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Strong computer skills - TaxPrep, Microsoft 365
