**Location**:
This sidewalk crew will be active in two of St. Albert's commercial areas and one area in the Northwest portion of Edmonton not far from St. Albert.

If so, Rockland is seeking experienced and dependable Sidewalk Crew members to join our team and perform efficient snow management of sidewalks and walkways.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- **Snow Removal**: Operate snow blowers, shovels, ice scrapers and other snow removal equipment to clear sidewalks, walkways, and entrances.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with fellow crew members to efficiently and effectively clear snow and ice from designated areas.
- **Safety**:Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure it operates smoothly and report any issues to the crew lead
- **Reporting**: Accurately document work completed, hours worked, and any issues encountered during the shift
- **Adherence to Schedule**: Arrive on time for assigned shifts and be available for work daily and on-call work as required

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in snow removal or related outdoor work is preferred
- Ability to operate snow removal equipment, including snow blowers and shovels
- Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs and able to perform physically demanding tasks in cold weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability for flexible work hours, including night shifts, weekends and holidays
