Are you an experienced, adaptable, and proactive earthworks foreman looking for a challenging role with a dynamic team? We are seeking a skilled Earthworks Foreman to oversee and manage a diverse range of site services and construction tasks, from road and pad construction to snow removal, large-scale matting, and contractor support. This role is designed for a foreman who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, where no two days are the same and flexibility is key.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of workers executing various site services and construction tasks, coordinating with other on-site contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage simultaneous scopes, including road and pad construction, snow removal, matting, and contractor support, adapting quickly to multiple unplanned scope changes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and on-site contractors, maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a productive, collaborative work environment.
- Provide clear, in-field instructions and mentoring, with a strong “boots-on-the-ground” presence, ensuring that all workers understand the requirements and standards for each task.
- Select the best resources for each scope and verify that all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and to high-quality standards.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and people management skills, adjusting to changing project demands and supporting team growth through training and mentorship.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in earthworks supervision, with the ability to manage constantly shifting project scopes and resources.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage and instruct a diverse workforce, including on-the-fly adjustments to meet project needs.
- Ability to manage large and small scopes simultaneously, maintaining flexibility to adapt to new tasks and resource reassignments as needed.
- Comprehensive understanding of equipment operations across a variety of tasks and terrains, offering clear instructions grounded in industry best practices.
- Positive, approachable demeanor with strong leadership, time management, and people management skills, focused on motivating and guiding the team to success.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in earthworks, construction, or related fields, with a focus on supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in challenging site conditions, including winter operations and muskeg management.
- Skilled in managing a high-demand, fast-paced workload, making independent decisions with mínimal oversight.

**Required Training & Certifications**:

- **ACSA Leadership for Safety Excellence**:

- **H2S Alive** - Energy Safety Canada
- **Standard First Aid CPR-C & AED**:

- **Ground Disturbance 201 (Level 2)** - Endorsed by Utility Safety Partners (USP)
- **Class 5 Driver’s License**

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Swamp Cats provides a personal service truck allowance or the use of a company truck
