Primary Responsibilities The Technical Associate is responsible for providing sample analysis support for ligand binding assays for oligo/PK/biomarker/immunogenicity studies and maintaining documentation integrity/quality in compliance with GLP and regulatory requirements. Tasks Performed - Prepare Watson labels for assay and study samples following specific study requirements as directed by the Principal Investigator in Bioanalysis (PIB). - Prepare plate cards and request samples per BPI instructions for the study, ensure all information is reviewed and approved by the BPI. - Assist the IPO in preparing the dilution scheme, homogenization form or other specific forms for sample analysis or validation as directed by the IPO. - Assist the IPO in preparing the required test documentation and ensure that the forms have been reviewed by the QC reviewer (if necessary) prior to testing and approved by the IPO. - Confirm reagent inventory prior to testing as directed by OFM and/or as indicated on the test instruction sheet. - Assist in the completion of critical reagent forms when received and contribute to the critical reagent inventory as requested. - Perform cell receipt, storage and retrieval as well as create appropriate Watson labels for identification in Watson and complete required supporting documentation. - Keep the Scientist and IPO informed of all assigned tasks through ongoing communication. Perform all work in accordance with applicable SOPs, GCP and GLP, and follow all company guidelines and policies when validating methods and analyzing study samples ; - Perform any other duties as required. Desired Profile - University degree in science (e.g. biochemistry, biology, etc.) with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a CRO or GLP regulated pharmaceutical bioanalytical environment. - Deductive reasoning skills and systematic approach to experimental planning and problem solving. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Attention to detail, good observation skills. - Able to solve problems by exploring innovative solutions and thinking "outside the box". - Good communication skills in English and French. - Software: MS-Office, Outlook, Labeller, Gen5 on BioTek reader, Data Analysis Toolbox software on Sector Imager S600 reader, xPONENT software on Luminex 200 system, LIMS Watson.
