As the Product Owner, you will lead a vision focused on evolving our Marketing Technology platforms with a clear roadmap and prioritized features to build. You will be guided by your deep understanding of our Clients, our competitors as well as digital innovators, and your close relationships with business and other stakeholders. You will manage budget and priorities carefully, aligning the spend to deliver on Client needs, business goals, and technology choices.
Our intention is to build Client and Advisor experiences that make people proud to be with Sun Life. We are on an exciting journey to transform how Clients and Advisors interact and collaborate, adding ease, effectiveness and convenience with each new feature we introduce.
**What will you do?**
- Ensure that the needs of our Clients and business partners are clearly understood and communicated to the team.
- Lead the team through agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and reviews.
- Act as the voice of the client in the definition of product, own all outcomes and incorporate feedback from client insights and research.
- Define, set and own the product vision and prioritize user stories for the delivery team to implement.
- Be the centre of the agile team, aligning the team and motivating them to deliver the best possible solutions within the given constraints.
- Contribute to business case development and delivery.
- Oversee budget and ensure optimal delivery supporting client needs and business goals.
- Understand and stay at leading edge of existing market solutions / components.
- Work with technology partners to develop a technology target state and roadmap for a digital marketing experience.
- Work with other functional product managers (e.g. Compliance, Legal, IT) to resolve product issues and ensure compliance.
- Oversee ongoing feature development and release pipeline consistent with engineering / architecture standards.
- Ensure our new experiences deliver as intended and strategically adjust ongoing refinement and future roadmaps.
- Work with external partners/vendors to explore and integrate new capabilities.
**What do you need?**
- Strong collaboration skills, working with cross-Business Unit partners to ensure roadmap alignment and delivery of desired capabilities.
