**Job Listings**:
The Maintenance Person 1 is responsible for the Mechanical condition of machinery and equipment, supplying heat, power, air exchange and other services in quantities sufficient to meet the needs of the hospital, mechanical efficiency of steam plant and auxiliary equipment; care of tools and equipment and judicious use of pipe fittings and other materials; as well as other duties as assigned.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Certificate of qualification issued by a Ministry of the Province of Ontario
- Trade or vocational school graduate with courses in blue-print reading, mechanical drawing, electrical and plumbing
- Ability to maintain and support the operations of boiler and HVAC systems
- Ability to read, write, make simple arithmetical calculations and follow written and oral directions
- 34d or 4th Class Stationary Engineer and/or relevant trade certificate is desirable
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, Class G
- Previous experience in operation of a computerized building automated system
