The Opportunity:
O2E Brands is looking for a Junior Tax Analyst - Co-op to join our growing team As part of the Finance department, you will assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns and prepare sales tax returns. In addition, you will assist with tax or accounting related research projects.

For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office up to 25% of the time.

A Day in the Life:

- Assist with the preparation of the Canadian and US corporate tax returns
- Assist with updating and maintaining working paper for tax returns
- Prepare the monthly, and quarterly Canadian, US, and Australian sales tax returns
- Correspond with the Canada Revenue Agency and/or Internal Revenue Service to obtain tax information and/or resolve tax issues
- Assist with research project on tax or accounting related topics
- Assist with ad hoc finance, accounting and operations accounting projects as needed

What You Bring to the Table:

- Working towards degree in commerce/management/finance or equivalent
- Some experience in a tax or accounting-related role is an asset
- Strong Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
- Organized, meticulous, and a strong problem solver with a willingness to adapt to changes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle account reconciliations and analysis including resolution of reconciling items
- Experience in Great Plains is an asset
