**Volunteer - Event Activation Crew**

**Volunteering overview**:
Join the Event Activation Crew for Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol In this exciting role, you will represent Latincouver at pre-festival events, engaging with the community and promoting festival activities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy networking and are passionate about community engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Represent Latincouver at various pre-festival events and community gatherings.
- Work festival booths, engaging attendees and sharing information about Carnaval del Sol.
- Promote festival activities and encourage community participation.
- Distribute promotional materials and gather feedback from attendees.
- Foster a welcoming and enthusiastic environment to enhance attendee experience.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective outreach and engagement.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a passion for community interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Experience in event promotion or customer service is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to different event environments and audiences.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.

**Duration**: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week
