**Job description**
We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Associate in our North Vancouver office to help drive our sales and grow the business. You will bring in new clients, converting leads into opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Update and enter client information in the CRM database.
- Identify new business opportunities and partners
- Build and qualify sales leads
- Conduct market research, build client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Update and enter client information in the CRM database.
- Develope and implement sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Attend social network events (required)
- Assist with drafting sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management and clients.
- General knowledge about the security products and services is an asset.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and provide feedback on marketing initiatives, market conditions, and competitors and trends
- Follow up with potential customers to arrange or facilitate a sales-driven call (e.g., Price Quotes, scheduling)
**Requirements**:
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in sales
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and driven.
- Friendly and personable demeanour.
- Excellent multi-tasking, decision-making, and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- A valid driver's license is an asset
- Persuasive and able to evaluate alternatives

**Salary**: $18.50-$25.00 per hour
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
