**Reports to**

Inventory Manager

**Role**

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for Warehouse duties, including but not limited to; Picking, Warehouse Organization, Cycle Counting, Corrugate Compacting, and other duties as assigned.

Reports directly to the Inventory Manager. The Warehouse Associate will work to maximize efficiency and output of the Warehouse area. The Warehouse Associate will liaise with other departments on a regular basis.

**Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of the Inventory Supervisor / Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Order receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping.
- Organizing work order sheets to minimize travel time.
- Verifying product to pick sheet and retrieving product.
- Advise of differences between physical location of goods, and paperwork provided, ensuring corrections and transfers can be completed
- Building stock on pallets and wrapping in safe and logical manner.
- Placing orders picked in the correct staging areas, as per instructions from the Staging & Picking Supervisor
- Verify part numbers on pick list to part number on boxes/skids/bins before taking to staging area
- Ensure parts are properly handled and stored when staging for production, to prevent damage and breakage.
- Receiving inbound shipments in ERP and storing after labeling.
- Shipping all outbound boxes/pallets with proper shipping labels/BOL/Waybill etc.,
- Driving forklift - counterbalance/reach truck/or any other MHE as per safety guarding and general safe working practices
- Communicating all shortages or discrepancies within a work order to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Responsible for the daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before driving.
- Ensuring all aisles are free from obstruction and that all strapping, shrink-wrapping, and empty boxes are always cleared.
- Participate in cycle count and year end inventory.
- Assisting other team members/departments as and when necessary.
- Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the Warehouse and office space in a clean, tidy, and safe condition
- Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practices.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by your supervisor/Manager.

**Working Conditions**
- Stand for prolonged periods, lift, bend, stretch, walk, crouch
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs when requested
- Work is performed in a combination of environments
- Overtime as required

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Valid forklift, reach, order picker, and electric walkie etc. certifications.
- Warehouse experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Fall arrest training and certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed with the ability to work well with mínimal supervision.
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Computer literate.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
