Material Planner

**Hours of Work**:Monday to Thursday 8:00AM-4:30PM; Friday 8:00AM-2:00PM

Bend All Automotive is privately held as part of The Huron Dynamic Technologies Group who employs over 2000 team members across the globe. We are a stable and growing automotive manufacturing company with products that range from singular customer designed parts to fully integrated modules or assemblies designed in-house.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Interface with internal and external suppliers for material orders
- Maintain part master files within the ERP system for inventory counts
- Report on cycle count activities, reconcile and implement corrective action for inventory variances
- Coordinate material shipments to maintain optimum raw material inventory levels
- Participate in daily and weekly meetings regarding the coordination of material activities for existing and new programs (APQP, Fast Response)
- Provide material releases to Supply Chain on a weekly basis through EDI
- Make recommendations for the optimization of shipping and receiving schedules
- Generate weekly management report on inventory and purchasing metrics
- Verify/Approve MPM (manufacturing process method) for program launches and/or program changes
- Approve/Issue material for material release for programs, samples, production trials
- Support SQE and Quality with material returns to vendors
- Update weekly inventory presentation with sales data, RM, WIP and attainment and analyze deviations
- Review Min/Max of material and establish a re-order point and safety stock
- Assist in EOP transition for materials
- Review OTD for suppliers and support SQE’s with scorecards

**Qualifications required**:

- Minimum 2 years of related working experience in manufacturing, automotive an asset
- Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Materials Management, or related discipline
- Must have previous work experience with MSOffice and ERP software; strong Excel skills required
- Strong Material Planning background
- Knowledge of supply chain management preferably with overseas experience
- Proven ability to identify and correct errors
- Detail oriented with a practical approach to problem solving
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
