**Primary Objective**: To take orders and dispatch efficiently for US Backhaul, keeping empty miles and dropped trailers to a minimum while keeping customer requirements at the forefront. To plan, schedule and dispatch operators and equipment for the conveyance of materials and freight to various areas of Canada from the United States.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure border crossings and customer requirements are entered correctly.
2. Plan available operators and equipment according to proximity and equipment type required for loads as well as hours of service.
3. Ensure accurate and timely load requirements are conveyed to operators.
4. Ensure accessorial charges are noted and advise customers and billing of charges pending.
5. Provide basic customer service for assigned area.
6. Maintain and monitor trailer banks in respective zones according to KPI’s.
7. Supply directions to “on road” drivers, when required.
8. Answer satellite, radio and telephone messages promptly.
9. Participate in daily huddles for operational planning purposes.
10. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Salary**: $26.52-$35.00 per hour
