**What's The Role**:
We are seeking a full time **DAY SHIFT**bulk material handler to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

- Receiving and shipping bulk and palletized materials from railway cars, trucks and storage bins and silos
- Housekeeping, our clean and neat facility keeps our customers happy
- Tasks will require working with hand tools such as bars, sledgehammers, seal cutters, brooms, shovels, vacuums and floor scrapers
- Moving and switching railway cars
- Shipping and receiving documentation
- Equipment and facility inspections
- Operating forklift, wheel loader, tractor
- Keeping our workplace safe

**The Environment**:

- Our work is mostly outdoors (20%) or outdoors under cover (60%) in all weather and ambient temperatures. If you enjoy working outdoors this is the place for you It can be dusty at times.
- We have an open concept office and great two way communication between our management team and employees.
- Daily morning job briefings, monthly plant communication meetings.
- As a team we stay in touch throughout the day using two-way radios.
- We have a dedicated and experienced trainers and lead hands who will actively coach, mentor and train you about our facility, processes and equipment operation.
- We all look out for each other, help and support our colleagues, find ways to improve our processes and keep our workplace safe.

**What We Need**:

- Day shifts only, 50 hours per week
- Monday through Friday from 0700 to 5 PM
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in warehouse / industrial/ construction/ landscaping/ farming/ agriculture environment
- Drivers license
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and around heavy equipment
- High school diploma/GED
- Lift truck, skid steer, loader operator experience preferred
- Working at heights experience preferred
- Familiarity/previous training with HACCP protocols an asset
- Detail oriented and able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Team player with positive attitude
- Good attendance and punctuality are a must
- Ability to lift up to 25 kgs
