**Title**: Property Care Member

**Position**:Part Time, 3-4 days a week 24 - 32 hrs

**Compensation**:Salary $27 Hourly

**Position Overview**

**Daily Responsibilities**

The Property Care Team Member will assist with the maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of the outside, common areas, gardens, garbage and parking areas at Kevington properties. Including but not limited to:

- Working in conjunction with the Landscaping, Building Cleaning and Maintenance Team members to ensure that the properties are clean, organized and items are addressed in an expedient manner keeping a high standard
- The daily use of different tools both manual and powered for optimal maintenance, including power washers, leaf blowers, ladders, cleaning and painting equipment
- Assist with the use of trailers, lifts and other mobile equipment used in landscaping and snow removal
- Assist with the daily review, care, cleaning, and maintenance provided to the areas in you are working in

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Maintain the cleanliness of the areas you are working in
- Monitor and clean garbage areas, including emptying and moving bins and perform litter pick-up and wash totes as needed
- Regularly monitor and clean common areas and parking areas
- Assist with the removal of graffiti, posters and any debris from the properties
- Assist Landscapers with spraying and weed pulling as required
- Sweep entrances, exits, stairwells, and sidewalks
- Seasonal watering, salting and snow removal
- Leaf collection from properties
- Check and report burnt out lights in the common areas and parking areas
- Use truck and trailers to assist with green cleanup and haul garbage to the transfer stations
- Keep and maintain service logs for all mobile equipment and lifts as needed
- Check for missing safety equipment and report to management
- Assist with special projects including minor construction and property improvements
- Helping with the preparation of company events and property decorations
- Providing third party trades with access to the property
- Assist with tenant move-in/outs when required
- Use and maintain tools as related to your duties
- Clean and check rooftop HVAC units (training provided)
- Clean and visually check property flat roofs for debris or water damage (training provided)
- Follow safety procedures while working, including safely operating vehicles when moving from site to site when completing tasks.
- Attend to any unexpected issues that may arise
- Report any deficiencies in the areas in your charge to Kevington Management

**Additional Requirements**
- A valid driver’s license
- Trailer towing experience an asset
- Operating a scissor/boom lift, bobcat and tractor (training provided)
- Fall protection ticket (training provided)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders - and perform other physically demanding duties
- Permitted to legally work in Canada (citizen, PR, work permit)
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must provide an acceptable Police Information Check (criminal record check)
