Position Overview:
You will play a critical role in securely packaging and preventing inadequate cut goods from reaching sewing facilities by performing quality checks on all pieces.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Take instructions from Supervisor.
- Check number of parts cut in every marker.
- Perform quality checks on all pieces prior to packaging.
- Make sure all small parts are tied with elastic band and put in the bag.
- Make sure to send end fabrics. Label the style and PO for every color and for every recut.
- Preparation of boxes and skids to pack cut goods.
- Take off cut parts from the cutting machine table, sort and pack them up.
- Clear the conveyor to optimize cutting machine operation.
- Assist the cutter operator to move spreads on the cutting machine.
- Report immediately to the Supervisor any issues.
- Ensure proper safety procedures are followed.Ensure a clean and safe workstation.

**Let's Talk About You**:

- Understanding of numbers and measurements
- A good command of English is required
- Working knowledge of production functions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Must have a strong work ethic with a proactive approach to the role
- Detailed-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Consistently exhibits Canada Goose’s Values, taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and walk for long period
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday - 7:30AM- 4:00PM on site
